Hey, I am marking the date in my book, so I WILL be there. March 4 - 5, 2011.
Let's make this a two night deal. There is plenty of time for planning. I will be heading up there Friday evening, who else is going to go?

Can someone who is going to winterfest pick up a D44 axle for me? I should be able to deliver the $$ next wednesday so that you can get the axle at winterfest for me. However, I never know what's going on so i'd like to mail a check to you to make sure.
Also need to give the other guy (from naxja) some contact info for the pickup.
Thanks.

I'm planning to come. Trying to get the newest project ready. '00 XJ with long arms and '78 f-250 axles front and rear and 38.5s. Replaing both front axles (what a surprise) and redoing brakes. Dana 44s really don't like 38s. If I can't get the XJ done, I'll be bringing the fat girl j-10. Lookin' forward to it. Been jonesin for some 4x4. If diesel gets any higher I probably won't bring the bigass RV.

I cannot make it do to it being my first week at my new job, and I plan on working through most of the weekend to get a head start on out office network, so we can get started on the real business at hand. Got to have phones and computers in order to start work, and we have none as of yet... Have fun, guys, and be safe! Take plenty of pics.

i am thinking that i will come, if someone with a truck and trailer wants to haul my xj, we could work out some kind of rideshare program. otherwise i will probably just drive the RUBICON. the camping situation is that they do have electric sites, but a lot of them are usually taken by the time we get there and you may end up having to make do with a primitive site. there are indoor bathrooms (concrete block building). in the past we have attended the naxja dinner, but we are skipping that this year ( you can attend if you want, but you have to get with someone from naxja and buy a meal) i think we will most likely go into town and grab a bite, i personally dont want to deal with bringing food. but if someone brings some i could throw some cash at it.

i am going to take the RUBICON and do some light wheeling, it is still too new and fresh for me to be comfortable doing any major stuff, thats why i was looking for someone who might be interested in taking the xj. i am pretty sure you can use generators but i am not sure, i suggest going to the badlands website and looking there. not sure exactly when we are leaving, we can talk about that on jeep night. i would probably meet at the truck stop at 37/465.

I'll bring the 2000 watt Honda geny, but I'm not coming until Sat morning. Tom, You can borrow one of my trailers (and a tow vehicle if you don't have one) to take your XJ if you want. Just let me know if you need it. Just to cover the traditional Tom scenario, You break it, You pay for it. ;D

I'll be going with the boy. We are going to try and get there just prior to the gates opening, I'm sure there will be a large line. For those going get ahold of me and we can run together and get on the same cb channell if you have one.
