I am starting a new thread to discuss and plan a summer wheeling trip. last night we talked and decided on a date. We are going somewhere on August 12-14. We will be leaving on Friday morning to go (insert wheeling spot) and returning on Sunday. Please check your calendars and get this time scheduled.
Our next step will be to decide on a destination. I am liking the Coal Creek and the Black Rock options.
Post up here with any ideas, suggestions or comments and please try to stay on the subject. Thanks.

Interlake. It was recently voted as one of the top four trial rides and is no too far away.

I've been wanting to check out Interlake anyway. Any possibility we could get a few rigs together for a ride to take a look at it before we make it the official summer run? I'm up for it. I think it takes about an hour longer to get to than Redbird.

Sounds like a plan. Campground looks good, and pretty cheap too. Now if we can just get some people to show up. How 'bout it folks? What do ya think?

this is from www.facebook.com/notes/del-albright-landuse-and-access/bfgoodrich-tires-2011-outstanding-trails-program/143326869070142 and trail 19 has been named to the bfg outstanding trails list • Interlake Trail 19, in Lynnville, Ind., is a 3,500-acre property, owned and managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The existing trail is a beautiful cruise through conifer and hardwood trees that are 40 to 50 years old. On a sunny summer day, the shade offers a nice diversion from the open prairie-like trails of the central areas of Interlake. The area not only offers motorized trail riding, but activities for all types of outdoor enthusiasts including hunting, fishing, horseback riding and mountain climbing. A rock garden is being planned, which has the potential to be one of the longest man-made rock crawling courses in the region. Indiana Four Wheel Drive Association (IFWDA) was formed in 1980 and acts on the common concern for motorized recreation while practicing stewardship of our natural resources. IFWDA, through its association with other state and national organizations, works to promote and act on issues affecting four-wheel drive recreation.
