I say swap the 3/4 axles into the yoter, gear the piss out of it. And bask in the glory of the 22re.

Looks like marlin crawler sells a 4.70 kit for $339, or $313 for a doubler kit. That's pretty cheap compared to jeep stuff.

It would cost me that on one of the 350's. the 3/4 axles are corp 14 bolt 9 1/2" carrier c-clip, corp 14 bolt 10 1/2 carrier full floater. I think both fronts are corp 10 bolts.

I am on my work computer right now, ebay is blocked but I am sure you can find one on there too. What's the problem with yours?

You would have to run some pretty big tires to clear the pig on the 14 bolts, but it probably wouldn't be too hard.

problem with the yota? It starts but has noo power and after it warms up it wants to die if you touch the gas..
i have 35/15.5/16.5's TSL swampers that are close to bald now, but clearance not bad..

i like the full floaters cause you can change an axle without removing the wheel.

Timing? fuel pressure? do you have the airplenum that goes across the top of the radiator to the air box on, there is a mass air flow sensor in the box.

time chain may be old. i haven't messed with it in months. i think timing was okay. fuel pressure is fine. I was thinking throttle position sensor or like you said mass air.

Throttle position sensor could be a good candidate since it dies as soon as you touch the throttle. The last yota I had was an 88 I bought on ebay, it had a blown head gasket, changed the head gasket, timing chain dropped the fuel tank and i can't remember wether we changed the pump or not, ran good for about 15-20 minutes, and then it would lose power, and the exhaust would glow red hot, finally swapped the motor with my other yota and drove it home, came out of the house and there was gas on the ground, loosened the cap and relieved the pressure, no more leak. Every once in a while I would forget and tighten the cap after getting gas after a while it would start running poorly and I would jump out loosen the cap and all better. While we were working on the old motor though we tried to start it without the air plenum it wouldn't run very well because of the mass air sensor, put the plenum on the it ran great.
