are there any of you on the westside that are good with rebuilding carbs? ive been fighting my jeep for months now and now its looking like, running like ive got a float sticking. ive had carbs apart and put them back together before but would like someone close by to make sure i dont screw this up.

i know, i had 2 spares, one went on a guys hot rod and i opened the other one up and its full of corrosion. so here i am, its rebuild or buy a new one and we all know not many of us have 300 bucks laying around. but i will trade a "gently" used girlfriend for a new carb.

I've got an edelbrock 4 barrel I took off the sbc in my "59 Willys truck. It's got less than 2000 miles on it. I like Hollys better and replaced it with a 600 Holly. I was going to keep it for a spare, but if you're interested, I'd take $150 for it.

i appreciate it, but i went ahead and rebuilt it saturday. back to running good, but i did notice my collectors where leaking, so my neighbors get to hear open headers come alive every morning at 2:30am. I feel like a kid again!!
